Subject: Cheeky ask Laptop needed

Thanks Darren

I am wondering if I can put a cheeky ask out there.

I have a student that urgently needs a laptop or notebook with a keyboard that they can access internet (and has usb ports) for a course they are doing at Mater in Brisbane.  Does anyone have any that they aren’t using, upgraded to another, anyone know of any funding available for this type of thing.

Much appreciated in advance

FW: ( S.A. ) Sonder : Call-out for Kaurna Aboriginal artists to create Reconciliation Action Plan artwork

Good afternoon,
It would be most appreciated if you could please share this call-out amongst your networks for Kaurna Aboriginal artists to create a piece of artwork for Sonder’s upcoming Reconciliation Action Plan.
Please see letter attached and details below.
Thank you!

To Whom It May Concern,
Call-out for Kaurna Aboriginal artists to create artwork for Sonder’s Reconciliation Action Plan.

FLYER Information

Sonder is an inclusive, not-for-profit organisation that has been providing better quality health and support services to the South Australian community since 1993.
As part of our ongoing reconciliation journey, we would like to engage with a Kaurna Aboriginal artist to create an original, contemporary artwork to reflect the importance of reconciliation and Sonder’s reconciliation journey from the present and into the future.
We would like the artwork to symbolize Sonder’s vision for reconciliation – Better Care, Better Health & Better Access through a culturally safe workplace which builds understanding, respect and shared responsibility along with community leadership in our reconciliation journey.
The artwork should signify our commitment to continued and amplified efforts to cultivate relationships, respect and opportunities that will bring our vision for reconciliation to life.
The artwork should represent two-way learning of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people working together to implement Sonder’s strategy.
We would like the artwork to be created in a digital, vector format and in our corporate colour scheme (colours can be provided upon request).
The artwork will be used as corporate branding on our future Reconciliation Action Plans and will also be placed on display in a prominent position at each of our locations.
Remuneration for this project will be negotiated with successful applicant via Sonder’s Reconciliation Action Plan Committee Co-Chairs.
About Sonder
Sonder is an inclusive, not-for-profit organisation that has been providing better quality health and support services to the South Australian community since 1993.
We support thousands of people each year with mental health challenges, alcohol & drug use concerns, chronic disease management and employment.
Sonder supports Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people through a range of culturally safe health services including our Closing the Gap – Integrated Team Care program, focused on supporting Aboriginal people to manage chronic conditions and navigate the healthcare system. As well as PACE, our exercise and nutrition program focused on supporting Aboriginal people to reach personal health and fitness goals whilst improving their social and emotional wellbeing.
Additionally, we support general practices to increase the uptake of 715 Aboriginal Health Checks, improve engagement with Aboriginal patients and provide better, culturally safe care through our 715 General Practice Support program.
