The City of South Perth (the City) is seeking applications from candidates to undertake two permanent part time Librarian positions. The positions are 19 hours per week (0.5 FTE).

These positions are a level 6 position that attracts a salary range of $78,227 – $91,235 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.

The City’s talented workforce prides itself on delivering excellent service to the community, and is a unique and vibrant Western Australian municipality. Located only 4kms from the Perth CBD, the City borders the stunning Swan River on its Northern and Western boundaries, and boasts excellent access to important social, commercial and leisure infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a customer focused, innovative information and library service to the Community. The Librarian position is pivotal in achieving both operational and strategic outcomes including:

               • Providing support to the Branch Librarian in the overall administration of the branch library on a day-to-day basis.

               • Delivering reference and information service to customers in addition to other library programmes, services and events.

               • Contributing to strategic outcomes, continuous improvement and best practice as part of the Library Services team
