Hi Everyone

The Shire of Capel is seeking applications for an exciting role as Library Officer (44 hours per fortnight).

The purpose of this role is to provide Library and Information Services to the community under the direction of the Manager Library Services with focus, in particular, on the e-Services portfolio. This includes working across our three branches (Capel, Dalyellup and Boyanup).

The working days/hours for this role are:

•             Wednesday: 7 hours

•             Thursday: 7.5 hours

•             Friday: 7.5 hours

Duties include:

•             Assisting with customer requests, and developing and facilitating community programs within the portfolio

•             Processing library items, maintaining records, preparing requested items, shelving and visual merchandising

•             Supporting the Library team through positive team participation; working in other areas to assist with workload/backup
