Introducing our revised CHC81015 Graduate Diploma of Relationship Counselling (Responding to Family Violence)
This qualification is designed for counsellors, or equivalent practitioners, seeking to enhance their skills to work with individuals and families affected by domestic and family violence. It provides students with:
- a diverse, blended learning experience, incorporating face-to-face, self-paced online and experiential learning
- the latest research and evidence-led content and practice theories
- three intake options including intensive, part time, and delivery in rural Victoria
- new experiential learning opportunities through the introduction of key guest speakers, as well as excursions to industry-specific organisations
- a fully coordinated, supervised and supported placement program, organised by Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV).
We are also pleased to announce its recognition as an approved course through the recently released (July 2021) mandatory minimum qualifications for family violence practitioners by Family Safety Victoria and as an accredited course with the Australian Counselling Association.

Become an accredited mediator with our intensive short course and assessment
In 2022, we’re pleased to introduce targeted workshops to expand your mediation skill set, and present our newly-revised Mediation Training Course.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will gain:
- a CHCSS00110 Mediation Skill Set through the Australian Qualifications Framework
- eligibility for National Mediator Accreditation System (NMAS) accreditation
- an entry pathway to the CHC81115 Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution, so you can continue developing your mediation and family dispute resolution skills.
