FW: ( S.A. ) Works Program’s Yourtown Horticulture Pre-employment program at Playford Alive

We would appreciate if you could share news of our upcoming Works Program’s inaugural Yourtown Horticulture Pre-employment program delivered at Playford Alive with your Turkindi network.

This eight-week program will provide accredited skills in horticulture and landscape maintenance, provide job-ready training, hands-on work experience and a genuine pathway to employment for successful program graduates.

Program participants will benefit from wrap-around services and workshops designed to enhance their experience during the program and to increase their job-readiness.

They will not need Police checks and Working with Children clearances to take part in the program but these checks will be required if offered employment with yourtown and their partnering employers.

Yourtown Horticulture Pre-employment program at Playford Alive
Yourtown is seeking expressions of interest from motivated people between 17-24 years of age to take part in the proposed eight-week Horticulture Pre-employment program. Participants will complete nationally accredited units from the Certificate II in Horticulture (Partial) (AHC20416) qualification, get hands-on experience on a live project and work experience with potential employers.  Interested, or know someone who might be?
