FW: ( S.A. ) Morella Community Centre : Now taking enrolments – FREE Adult Community Education Courses 2022

Good Afternoon

The team at Morella are excited to open registrations for our ACE Courses for Semester One 2022!
All our ACE courses including the creche* are fully funded by the Government of South Australia. Both our Accredited and Non-Accredited courses have seen many commendable participant pathways into employment and VET study thereby being a popular starting point to re-enter the workforce. The following courses commencing in the first week of February:
PATHWAY TO CHILDREN’S SERVICES (Accredited course**)
PATHWAY TO THE HORTICULTURE INDUSTRY (Accredited course)
COMMERCIAL KITCHEN PRACTICES (Accredited course)
READING AND NUMERACY SKILLS (Non-Accredited course***)
WRITING SKILLS (Non-Accredited course)

Walk-in Enrolment Days 
On Thursday 20th and Tuesday 25th January, drop by anytime between 10 am and 2 pm to find out more about our courses and enrolments.

Eligibility criteria

• an Australian or New Zealand citizen or a permanent Australian resident or the holder of a state-sponsored visa on a pathway to permanent residency (full list of eligible visa types are available on request) 
• and are 16 years or over and not enrolled at school. 
• An upfront assessment of need is required to ensure students are enrolled in the most appropriate training  

Additional Information 
* Creche Options: Creche (childminding) is available for children (over 12 months of age) of parents/primary caregivers attending courses. Limited spots are available in creche hence separate booking is essential at the time of enrolment.

** Accredited course – delivered and assessed by Interskills (RTO 6653)
*** Non-Accredited course focusses on preparation of language, literacy and numeracy skills for our EALD community to successfully enter into work/study
