The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is now accepting expressions of interest for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members to join our established Aboriginal Consumer Reference Group (ACRG).
We are looking for people who:
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Have lived experience of mental health, chronic disease and / or accessing NALHN services
- Are passionate about using your voice to advocate for your community
- Reside within the NALHN geographical catchment area and access NALHN services.
- Can commit to attending our meetings once per month (meetings are for 3 hours and lunch is provided)
- Youth applicants are strongly encouraged (16-25 years)
All participants receive a sitting fee ($35 per hour) for their time and valued input. Transport to and from meetings is available if needed.
COVID-19 Vaccination – In line with the Emergency Management (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) Direction 2021, all staff, consultants and/or contractors who work, volunteer, or provide services across our sites and services regardless of whether they work in a patient or a non-patient area are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19
