An exciting opportunity exists to join Reform and Support Services (RSS) in the Temporary, flexible full-time position of I&CT Change Manager, Information and Court Technologies (A06). The role is Temporary until 30/06/2022 with possibility of extension and based in the QEII Courts of Law, 415 George Street, Brisbane.

 

 

Reform and Support Services (RSS), Information and Court Technology

The Information & Court Technology Branch (I&CT) supports the important work of Queensland Courts through a combination of internal resources and external suppliers. Queensland Courts rely heavily upon technology to deliver existing services and plan to use technology to drive strategic changes in the way that services are delivered to the community. The I&CT Branch will be at the forefront of that change.

 

The I&CT Service Management team are responsible for IT Service Management capability across the I&CT branch and govern the operation and maintenance of Integrated Criminal Justice (ICJ) inter-agency systems.

·         Department of Justice and Attorney-General

·         Queensland Police Service

·         Queensland Corrective Services

·         Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs

·         State Penalties Enforcement Registry          

 

 

The role

Reporting directly to the I&CT Service Delivery Manager you will work in a small team of IT professionals who are responsible for providing IT service management across the I&CT branch and the ICJ systems across criminal justice agencies in Queensland.

 

Your superior release, change control and validation skills will see you providing change management within the I&CT branch as well as production ICJ systems.  The role requires strong communications skills with technical and business stakeholders at all levels across government to ensure the effective distribution of information within DJAG and ICJ agencies. You will take responsibility for coordinating changes to designated I&CT managed systems, including ICJ.

Key Responsibilities

·         Contribute to achieving Service Management standards within I&CT Service Management

·         Perform change management, including coordinating and communicating of changes and planned outages across I&CT, DJAG and ICJ agencies

·         Produce and distribute change requests and associated documents to technical and business stakeholders utilising the I&CT IT Service Management toolset.

·         Ensure I&CT and inter-agency compliance with change management policies, procedures and processes based on the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.

·         Drive continuous service improvement based on own analysis as well as supervisor, team and client feedback.

·         Establish and develop productive working relationships with fellow team members, clients and stakeholders.

·         Assist the I&CT Service Delivery Manager with incident and problem management, including incident investigation and resolution, the coordination of root cause analysis and corrective actions as required.
