Subject: National Reconciliation Week 2022 – BE BRACE. MAKE CHANGE.

Hi All,

National Reconciliation Week

National Reconciliation week 2022

National Reconciliation Week celebrates our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and is an opportunity to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. National Reconciliation Week is held each year from 27 May to 3 June as these dates commemorate the successful 1967 referendum and the High Court Mabo decision respectively.

The Moreton Bay Region extends through Kabi Kabi, Yuggera, and Jinibara Country. Council respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands across the region, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

For more National Reconciliation Week information, or to register your event, visit the MBRC Website – https://www.moretonbay.qld.gov.au/Events/Reconciliation-Week
