TECHNICAL OFFICER ARBORICULTURE (607441) ß Apply via email
Program Planning and Integration has an opportunity for two motivated individuals to join the North and West teams.
The primary purpose of the position is to provide technical advice on arboriculture asset management issues to senior staff and external customers. The role also provides field support to internal Arboriculture teams in developing and delivering tree maintenance programs across Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities:
· Complete tree risk assessments, applying current principles and procedures within the area of tree maintenance and removal.
· Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers by resolving customer requests.
· Carry out investigations, prepare job briefs and assist as required internal and external service providers carrying out work to ensure all works adhere to Council standards.
Please note that there are two positions available, one in North and one in West.
To be eligible to apply you must meet the following criteria: For salaried roles, applications can be accepted from: permanent employees; temporary employees who have been employed for a minimum of six months; people employed as temporary employees through a Community Jobs Program/Work Placement; casual employees who have had the equivalent of six months full-time employment; and external applicants for internally advertised Band 2 to 4 vacancies from the Indigenous communities and the Disability Community Network (Equity and Diversity Networks). Labour hire (agency contractors) are not eligible to apply for TV6 roles.
