Fleet Solutions branch manages every step of the lifecycle of Brisbane City Council’s fleet – we plan, we procure, we maintain, we repair, and we dispose. In this role you will assist in providing a range of operational support activities through various channels including work order management, customer and supplier liaison and reporting.
To be successful in this role you will:
1. Lead and role model customer-centric behaviour to ensure a positive customer experience.
2. Work in partnership with your team leader to agreed performance standards and mutual expectations. Give and receive feedback to enable performance to be improved and personal responsibility for optimising your potential within Council.
3. Management of telephone enquiries and bookings from customers.
4. Provide efficient, proactive and reliable administrative service, including the preparation and coordination of written documentation, spreadsheets, correspondence and reports.
5. Creating and proactively managing work orders including providing feedback and updates to customers on work progression and completion.
6. Coordinate with external suppliers and scheduler to ensure the timely delivery of parts and/or services to minimise the downtime of fleet and equipment.
7. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
8. Develop and maintain efficient operational processes systems and procedures to ensure that business needs are met.
To be eligible to apply you must meet the following criteria: For salaried roles, applications can be accepted from: permanent employees; temporary employees who have been employed for a minimum of six months; people employed as temporary employees through a Community Jobs Program/Work Placement; casual employees who have had the equivalent of six months full-time employment; and external applicants for internally advertised Band 2 to 4 vacancies from the Indigenous communities and the Disability Community Network (Equity and Diversity Networks).
