Brisbane City Council have an exciting opportunity for a Data Quality Analyst to join our Data, Reporting and Analysis (DRA) team. As part of the Support Services Centre, we enable timely insights and business results based on high quality data enabling people to make better decisions, take action and deliver Council’s goals. Our service delivery is based on efficient, standardised, and integrated processes using existing systems.

The Data Quality Analyst will provide analysis and data quality assurance for master data to ensure integrity and compliance. This role will perform planned regular routines to provide accurate information to key stakeholders and audit responses.

The key responsibilities of this role will be to report on the quality, currency and integrity of information assets and identify improvement processes to enable accurate information and reporting.

To be successful you will have:

• demonstrated experience in managing and maintaining master data

• well-developed analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills

• ability to identify opportunities for system/process improvement

• developed written, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Working in Council means delivering excellent customer service to the people of Brisbane.

To be eligible to apply you must meet the following criteria: For salaried roles, applications can be accepted from: permanent employees; temporary employees who have been employed for a minimum of six months; people employed as temporary employees through a Community Jobs Program/Work Placement; casual employees who have had the equivalent of six months full-time employment; and external applicants for internally advertised Band 2 to 4 vacancies from the Indigenous communities and the Disability Community Network (Equity and Diversity Networks). Labour hire (agency contractors) are not eligible to apply for TV6 roles.
