City Projects Office (CPO) is looking for a Communication Engagement Support Officer to join the Community and Stakeholder Engagement section within the Project Management branch for six months.
In this role you assist and support the community engagement and stakeholder engagement officers in the delivery of the community and stakeholder engagement activities for City Project Office.
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria.
· Assist with the implementation and evaluation of successful community engagement strategies for a range of City Project Office infrastructure projects and ensure Council’s project priorities are met.
· Apply project community engagement policy and procedures and provide support to the team when engaging key stakeholders including City Projects Office and City Project Office Project Managers.
· Assist with writing, editing, proofing, sourcing quotes, production, and budgeting of relevant pieces of collateral, for a variety of audiences, required as part of these community engagement strategies.
· Deliver community engagement support and activities in line with Council’s guidelines, policies, and processes, including branding, approvals processes, corporate style guide and preferred supplier arrangements.

To be eligible to apply you must meet the below criteria.
For salaried and wages roles, applications for TV6 or temporary vacancies of up to 6 months can be accepted from:
· permanent employees (excluding employees on probation)
· temporary employees who have been employed for a minimum of six months
· people employed as temporary employees through a Community Jobs Program/Work Placement
· casual employees who have had the equivalent of 12 months full-time for salaried roles and 3 months equivalent for wages roles
· agency contractors (i.e. labour hire) who have had the equivalent of 12 months full-time equivalent.
· external applicants for internally advertised Band 2 to 4 vacancies from the Diversity and Inclusion network.
