Program Support Officer B4
If you enjoy variety we have an excellent part time opportunity for a Program Support Officer.
Reporting to the Congestion Reduction Unit Manager, this role works collabarativley across the Congestion Reduction Unit within Transport Planning and Operations (TPO) Branch. Our Branch is responsible for the day to day operations of the road network and the delivery of a variety of road based and transport projects , and promotes active travel through travel behaviour change initiatives and green bridges.
The Program Support Officer supports the Section Manager and works across the team to deliver operational activities and road network management. Business as usual activities include; project support, communications, correspondence and coordination, as well as diary management, SAP purchasing, and team administration.
To be successful in this versatile role you will have:
· well-developed planning and organisational skills including ability to manage competing priorities across projects and teams with limited supervision
· competent problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative to resolve issues
· highly developed interpersonal skills and experience in successfully developing and managing stakeholder relationships
· competent written skills and experience in preparing reports, correspondence and the ability to prepare and deliver presentations
· demonstrated ability to work on an individual and team basis within a multi-disciplined team
· ability to assist in the coordination of basic financial functions and practices in accordance with set procedures, timeframes and audit requirements
· the ability to acquire knowledge of Council’s business and administrative systems.
