Parking Operations Triage Officer – based in Fortitude Valley

The Compliance and Regulatory Services (CARS) team contributes to the health, safety and amenity of Brisbane through a range of licensing and regulatory services related to environmental health; land use and built environment; animal management; natural environment; parking regulation; asset use; and contract management. We do this by providing best practice regulatory services that contribute positively to the quality and lifestyle of the city. We have an exciting opportunity for a Parking Operations Support Officer. In this role you will provide accurate and timely operational support services and assist team members in the performance of their role. You will also provide a high level of customer service through research and resolution of requests for service and general enquiries by stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will need:

·         excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

·         an enthusiastic attitude and experience in supporting a team in an operational capacity to achieve outcomes and timeframes

·         demonstrated ability to make good decisions whilst working under pressure

·         sound ability to use office computer software programs and electronic databases

·         strong written skills to create accurate reports to be used as enforcement evidence

·         demonstrated administrative and organisational skills including the ability to prioritise and manage workload whilst maintaining attention to detail
