Transport for Brisbane (TFB) is one of the largest fleets in Australia and offers a variety of services to the public such as time-tabled bus services, school, special events and charter trips. This role reports to the Senior Maintenace Manager of the Toowong Depot.


About the position

This is an exciting opportunity that will see the successful applicant deliver learning content to our team of qualified maintenance workers by continuously reviewing and building new learning framework.  

With a lens on continuous improvement, innovation and shared knowledge this role will involve the careful creation of learning modules/activities supported by clear documentation for future use and improvements. Utilising learning theories, business intelligence and a clear delivery plan for maximum learning impact, you will work in key partnership with your team leader to achieve agreed performance targets.

Delivering high quality of learning and support is integreal to the growth of the Maintenance team and the Depot operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high performing team that works hard to ensure a key Brisbane City Council is delivered day-in and day-out!

To be successful in this role you will:

·         Lead and role model customer focus by supporting positive business outcomes, innovation and knowledge sharing.

·         Work in partnership with your team leader to agreed performance standards and mutual expectations. Give and receive regular feedback to enable performance to be improved and take personal responsibility for optimising your potential within Council.

·         Provide reporting using the relevant business intelligence systems to support the measurement of performance and respond to general enquiries regarding our Learning and Development activities.

·         Administer the planning and support of the TfB Maintenance Learning Pathway and related activities  including coordination of the learning and development schedule and maintenance of learning resources, processes and tools.

·         Assist with maintenance of TfB L&D documentation, templates and audit requirements.

·         Develop and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships with colleagues, customers and managers to enable the effective delivery of our learning programs.

·         Support the design and delivery of learnng solutions as required

·         Be actively responsible and take accountability for any given task, ensuring it is delivered on time and to requirements.

This role will require a Criminal History Check.
