Hello everyone!

Correction: DAAW applications will be closing this Thursday, the 30th of June.

We had previously listed the closing date as 30th July – apologies, this is incorrect.

How about closing out this financial year with an application to this exciting program?

 

We are seeking applications for the next group to participate in our inclusive, award winning disABILITY ACTION at WORK’ program (also known as ‘DAAW’), commencing in September 2022!

 

 

Are you a person with a disability who is:

·         wanting to build on your current experience and/or studies?  

·         ready to re-enter the workforce in a professional environment? 

·         looking to build professional networks and develop skills that will enhance your employability and competitiveness for vacancies? 

 

This program:

·         is designed to provide participants with meaningful paid work and career development

·         offers 16 weeks of paid, part-time work (2.5 days per week), in an area that is related to your experience and/or studies (please note: we are currently seeing a high demand for Administration and Data Analytics skills!)

·         includes a Career Development component, designed to boost your confidence and help you develop your capacity to effectively compete for jobs and self-manage your career

·         will be commencing in early September

Dear colleagues,

An exciting opportunity exists to join Reform and Support Services (RSS) in the Permanent, full-time position of Client Service Administrator – AO3. There are currently 3 permanent positions available. The role is based in the QEII Courts of Law, 415 George Street.

 

Reform and Support Services (RSS)

Reform and Support Services (RSS), a branch of Court Services Queensland (CSQ), is dedicated to delivering initiatives to support a whole of justice approach to contemporary and accessible courts.

The Recording and Transcription Services team sits within RSS.

 

The RSS branch delivers value and support to the courts and judiciary through:

·         collection of statistical data from various courts systems for evaluation and trend analysis by relevant internal and external stakeholders

·         partnering across government agencies to improve integrated criminal justice services through dedicated projects

·         production of courts policy and procedures including the associated legal advice around applicability of legislative reform to ensure consistency, compliance and risk mitigation

·         training for court staff on courts systems, policies and procedures

·         identification of courts systems issues, testing of solution options and implementation of priority business systems changes

·         creation and maintenance of court website

·         production of quality transcription and recording services

·         provision of dedicated technical support for judiciary including help desk support, audio and visual services for court rooms, and

·         instruction on courts procurement, courts contract engagement process and courts budgets.

 

The role

The Client Services Administrator is part of the Recording and Transcription Services team within RSS. Recording and Transcription Services liaise with various stakeholders including vendors, Court and judicial staff, legal professionals, members of the public to coordinate matters related to transcription services for Queensland Courts and Tribunals.

 

The role of a Client Service Administrator is comprised of acting as the first point of contact for our clients and performing administrative duties relevant to the ordering and distribution of Court transcripts. The Client Service Administrator will act as a conduit between our stakeholders and our service providers to ensure the accurate and secure transfer of court recordings and transcriptions. Within this role you will be required to assist customers and clients both internal and external to DJAG.

Key Responsibilities

·         Act as the first point of contact when responding to transcript requests and enquiries by providing prompt, competent, consistent and courteous service via telephone and email.

·         Undertake the ordering and distribution of court transcripts, ensuring a high level of customer support to internal and external stakeholders, judiciary and courts’ users.

·         Accurately enter and extract information from records systems and computerised databases to process transcript requests and ensure correct distribution of transcripts.

·         Comply with administrative and operational processes, policies and procedures, and legislative guidelines relating to the delivery of quality services to relevant clients and stakeholders.

·         Contribute to effective teamwork by developing a detailed understanding of the roles and duties of other team members.

·         Actively display diligence, professionalism and confidentiality while handling sensitive information.

·         Ensure relevant policies, procedures and legislation are being adhered to while performing all aspects of the role.

·         Undertake other tasks as directed.
