See below funding opportunity for community partners within our New England North West Hunter Central Coast region and shared Hunter England Central Coast Primary Health Network regions.

The Primary Health Network funding is for Covid Reconnection and Community Wellbeing and Resilience Flood Recovery (including 2021 and 2022 floods).

The grants will support activities, initiatives and programs that aim to:

• Support social and community connections
• Support social and emotional wellbeing
• Support resilience building for communities and individuals

There are two grant types available which are:

1. Community COVID Reconnection Grants – $5,000 for community-based events activities and projects

2. Community Wellbeing and Resilience Flood Recovery Grants – $5,000 – $50,000 will be available for NGOs and community groups to deliver projects and initiatives that promote mental wellbeing and resilience for the residents of those regions.

These grant rounds will open on 19 May and will close on the 12 June 2022. Please apply via the application links below.

We are seeking expressions of interest from community members and health workers to participate in NSW Regional Health Plan consultations 

The Consultation sessions are designed to hear from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across NSW regional, rural and remote areas a number of key area to improve regional and rural health. Consultation sessions will be held with people working in the health sector as well as community experiences as patients. 

·         Session 1 Wed 15 June 11.30am – 1.00pm Community members (and Elders) 

·         Session 2 Wed 15 June 11.30am – 1.00pm Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workforce

·         Session 3 Thurs 16 June 11.30am – 1.00pm Community, youth specific (25 years and under)

·         Session 4 Thurs 16 June 11.30am – 1.00pm Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workforce

–      Name, age and location 

–      Current job title or role in community 

–      Identify if you would like to participate in a community session or a health sector session
