June Edition

Inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs’.

Next week we’ll host the team from illuminate Education in Moree for the primary illuminate challenge, bringing together bright minds in years 5 & 6 from the across the LGA. Like the hugely successful secondary challenge the students will work through a community based challenge, developing confident, creative and capable young people, with a focus on four core skills, communication, understanding, problem solving and working smarter. The students would love your feedback, we still have some spaces for community members to help mentor or judge this challenge, it’s just an hour or so over the week. Please reach out to Kirsty if you’re available to help. Please note a valid WWCC is required.

EiR Ian Mason visits Moree.

Last week our Expert in Residence Ian Mason returned to the region for a busy few days. We worked with Moree Secondary College Students as they delved into their Game Changer Challenge, this year their wicked problem is we have a global challenge of ensuring healthy lives for all, at all ages. Lots of critical thinking and research was undertaken by the students, we look forward to continuing to work with them until their final submission.

Ian met with Kerrie from indigenous start-up Yinarr-Ma, as well as many other businesses around town for dedicated one-on-one business consultations. Please reach out if you’d like to work with Ian on his next visit.

Don’t miss our upcoming activities.
