Hi Glen,

I was given your name by a former colleague, Sara Abberton (now with Dept of Regional NSW), as you may have contacts within Government agencies in the Moree region that may be interested in a session we are presenting on the Elsa Dixon Program .  This session will be held in Moree to presented by Andrew Gordon, Project Officer – Elsa Dixon Aboriginal Employment Grant program with Training Services NSW.

If we are able to get some of the NSW Government Organisations to the meeting on the date below, this would be greatly appreciated. TS NSW would like to promote our EDAEG to these organisations and the more exposure it gets to the community as well will be beneficial.

edaeg_factsheet.pdf

TSNSW have managed to secure the training room at AES in Moree on Monday 18th July 2022 from 11:30am – 1:00pm.

I’ve added the EDAEG link below which has our current Guidelines and Fact sheet (there will be changes on 1st July as well to the Guidelines – watch this space). Also, I’ve added the Government departments cluster page that may provide you some idea of the contacts in your area who may be able to attend.

Please feel free to give me a call for further information.  Alternatively, forward this email to relevant parties (and cc myself) to any relevant contacts from Government Agencies in the Moree region that may wish to attend.

If you could please forward me any contact details, either phone or emails, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance and look forward to hearing from you.

Regards

Tan

Hi Glen

I would like to invite our Community to contribute their thoughts in 50 words or less on this year’s NAIDOC Theme, “Get Up. Stand Up. Show Up”. What does it mean to you as a:

*   Parent
*   Grandparent
*   Care provider
*   Elder
*   Aunt or Uncle
*   Sportsperson
*   Employee
*   Leader
*   Student
*   Musician
*   Teacher

It is a diverse, yet important theme. Your responses can reflect in your personal or professional lives. I would also like to put a face to the comments and can take a photo if needed.

This will be an exhibition at the Dhiiyaan Aboriginal Centre, in recognition of NAIDOC Week.

Many thanks
