(Hello – in Ngunnawal language)

We are delighted to inform you that our Lockdown Legacies online art book and video gallery are now available to be viewed. Both the video gallery and the book provide important records of the experiences of ACT children and young people throughout the lockdowns in the ACT over the past two years.

I was blown away by the talent, thoughtfulness and insights that the artists shared with us and I believe you will be too. A range of different artistic mediums are showcased, as are a range of different emotions! Humour, frustration, longing, love and sometimes despair run through the art and vividly show us the impact of these past two years on our children and young people.

I trust you will appreciate the opportunity to view these important historical records. We will also be doing a limited print run of the book so we can provide copies to the children and young people who entered the art competition.

Stay safe and be well!

Warm regards,

Jodie Griffiths-Cook
