Subject: [WAIN] Seeking Archives Assistant / Information Officer Position Description
Hi
Following an internal audit it was recommended the agency create a central register of all off-site records.
I am looking for an approved WA Public Sector job description or job profile for an Archives Assistant / Information Officer to assist with creating the central register.
We wish to engage an officer to assist with analysing off-site storage of records, identify content held across multiple off-site accounts, liaise with business to identify contents, create/consolidate consignments lists, and if necessary record R&D codes.
We do not anticipate the position would be responsible for appraising the records contents, rather they will assist a qualified Information Professional to identify content.
To facilitate a speedy recruitment process I am seeking an approved position description to avoid waiting for a new PDF being reviewed and classified.
If any agency can provide me a copy of a similar position it would be much appreciated.
