Podcast on family violence – challenges facing people from multicultural backgrounds

We were honoured to join in 3 BRIMANK LIVE FM podcasts recently for conversations about family violence and the specific challenges that people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities sometimes face in speaking out and seeking help. Thank you to Brimbank City Council for inviting us to take part in this important discussion.

Cultural respect: It starts with us all

All of us have a role to play in advancing reconciliation, respect and cultural safety in Australia – not only during Reconciliation Week, but all year round.

In our latest blog, we share some suggested actions that individuals and organisations can take throughout the year, and provide links to valuable resources and expert knowledge shared by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

FREE socks for dads and our recent conference involvement

The recent FRSA and AIFS conferences provided a wonderful opportunity to present and engage in person with professionals from across Australia post-COVID-19.

The Relationships Australia-sponsored information stand, coffee cart and lounge area at the AIFS Conference were well-received and our Support for Fathers socks were the talk of the town.

Who we are and how we can support you: Our new brochure

Our updated service information brochure for clients, professionals and members of the public is now available in a new single-panel format for easier online access.

We also provide our service information in an Easy English format [PDF, 915KB], and printed hard copies of both documents are also available on request.
