An exciting opportunity has become available to join us in the Arboricultural Scheduling Team for a six-month period.

Public Space Operations is a service delivery, customer focused and commercially driven business that prides itself on keeping Brisbane’s streets and public spaces clean, green, and safe for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike.

As a Scheduling Officer you will be the key point of contact for the delivery of scheduled and reactive work. You will work closely in a team that delivers programs of work throughout Brisbane, utilising SAP and associated operational systems and processes

While the main location for the position is Eagle Farm, it may be based in another location, including Darra, Morningside or Toowong, subject to discussion.

To be eligible to apply you must meet the below criteria.

Chermside Library has a temporary fulltime Band 2 position available to commence 11 June to 2 December 2022.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate Saturdays and rostered Tuesday or Thursday evenings until 8pm.

The team is looking for a friendly, highly motivated team member. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a busy Hub library.

The applicant would need to demonstrate:

·         Excellent and proactive customer service skills

·         Quality interpersonal skills and teamwork

·         Be motivated to develop skills in the delivery of children’s literacy, including F5F programs, BBR, Toddler Time, Storytime

·         A willingness to learn and support digital programming, adult learning and literary events

·         Ability to adapt to change, be innovative and forward thinking

·         Ability to adapt to engage with customers and troubleshoot emerging/new information technology

As Program Support Officer you will work in a small business support team and will get involved in research, support delivery of various program outcomes and through administrative support, corporate reporting and business improvement support and initiatives, assist Senior Program Officer in delivery of operational and strategic priorities.

We are looking for a well organised team player who can fit into a high performing, cohesive and highly flexible team and provide quality, high level of administrative, HR and other support to the team and to our entire branch.

In order to be successful in this role you will bring:

·         Demonstrated knowledge of administrative processes and ability to coordinate a high-quality business support. Substantial experience and ability to quickly adopt to corporate systems and processes and deliver work with a high degree of accuracy.

·         Written and verbal communication skills of a high order and sound interpersonal skills, including ability to liaise to internal and external stakeholders

·         Experience in managing competing priorities within tight deadlines and demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.

·         Proficiency in commonly used computer systems and software, including sharepoint and database management.
