Administrative Support Officer – AO3

Dear colleagues,

Expressions of Interest (EOI) are sought for the temporary, full-time position of Administrative Support Officer – AO3. The role is to commence as soon as possible, in March 2022, to 30 June 2022, with the possibility of extension.  The role is based in the Brisbane Magistrates Court.

The Courts Innovation Program (CIP)

Courts Innovation Program, within the Magistrates Courts Service, manages and supports a number of court programs.  These programs are primarily designed to respond to the needs of people, especially those with multiple and complex needs, who interact within the justice system.

 

Through our programs, we link people to health and social services to address the underlying causes of offending and also provide culturally appropriate responses for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to help address their over-representation in the criminal justice system. 

 

CIP encourages a culture of high performing teams with a focus on our staff and professional development. 

 

About the role

The Administrative Support Officer is an integral member the CIP Business Team that operates in a diverse, fast-paced, dynamic, challenging and rewarding environment.  The Administrative Support Officer provides high level secretarial, business and administration support to the Senior Director CIP, three CIP Directors, senior management and staff across all areas of CIP. The Administrative Support Officer operates a variety of governmental and organisational software platforms to contribute to the success of CIP in meeting its business objectives.

 

The Administrative Support Officer reports to the Business Manager, CIP.
