The City of Salisbury  Phoebe Wanganeen Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarships are now open for 2022.
To recognise Phoebe Wanganeen’s contribution the City of Salisbury has awarded the Phoebe Wanganeen Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship since 2008.
These Scholarships support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander City of Salisbury residents; undertaking their first post-secondary course to study at any University in Australia, vocational training course at any TAFE  or Registered Training Organisation ( RTO)  in Australia. Students who have previously participated in a school-based apprenticeship are still eligible to apply.

Information about the Scholarships including Overview, Guidelines and Application document is available on the City of Salisbury website www.salisbury.sa.gov.au/pws

Applications close Monday  28 March 2022.

2022 National NAIDOC Poster Competition Now Open!


If you are aged 13 years and over the National NAIDOC Committee invites you to submit your artwork for the 2022 National NAIDOC Poster Competition! 

You can submit your poster by visiting the NAIDOC website here and filling out the online form.

Entries for the poster competition close 14 March 2022 at 11:59PM (AEDT).

Dear Community

TFSS – Coledale Community Hub has partnered with the Tamworth Regional Library to bring to you a Tech savvy Seniors program.

If we reflect on the past 2 years, we have noticed an increase in the use of technology. whether that be through social media, online shopping, skype, video calling, online doctors appointments and the list goes on. We hope that this program can assist our Elders in gaining confidence and education moving forward.

If you have clients or loved ones 50 years and or older that may benefit from a program like this please have the register by calling the Library on 6767 5228.
